if I did this course, or wore those kinds of clothes, or mimicked these people, then I would be just as good. But I never got the same result that they did. I always fell short, just not good enough....
It has only been in recent years that I've stopped getting so annoyed by the endless number of copycats who promote the whole "Be original" - "there is only ever going to be one you" mantra of hipster culture.
But only because I've realised something very important.
It's actually true.
I will always be the one person in the world who was born at exactly the time I was born, in the town I was born in, into the family I was born into.
I will be the only person with my exact shade of eyes, with my hair, with my freckles, with my body, heart, mind and soul.
I will be the only person who has the experiences I have, with the past that I have lived, from the perspective I am in.
I will be the only person who sees the world in the way that I see it.
The only one who will learn the way I do, who will question things the way I do, who will think about life the way I do.
No matter how hard we try, we can NEVER see, be, or have life in the same way someone else has it - it is not scientifically or spiritually possible.
So we just have to accept that. We can never compare to anyone else. And no one can ever compare to YOU.
And this is why you are just so freaking awesome in every way. Because it's in YOUR way.
Until we meet again my friends,
much love from
