Beginning a new blog is a wonderous thing. The magic of possibilities, the anticipation of a passion realised, and the excitement of creative energy, all present in the beautiful blank page, flashing cursor, and large button 'Publish Post'.
It's synonymous with a first date, or new job, or shopping bag containing an unworn dress - not yet familiar, still exciting, and butterflies in your stomach.
Wanting to make a great first impression, I brainstormed ideas hoping the perfect topic would come to mind, but as with all first time introductions, I took the route most safe - to just be myself, and let the ideas flow, because trying to be something I'm not will only make it harder.
You may question me on this "I took the route most safe - to just be myself", as many people consider this to be the hardest thing to do, but I started this business because I want to help you question this assumption, and show you that 'who you are' is able to be expressed with confidence when you let go of the need to be someone else.
